A family establishment since 1921 (46 rooms - 2 rooms for reduced mobiilty people), ideally located in the heart of St Geniez d´Olt, Green holiday resort of 2200 inhabitants in the Lot Valley and a real link between Aubrac in the North and the Causses in the South.

Open: 7 days a week from April to October, Christmas and New Year.

From April the 1st, till November the 3rd, in 2024.

Alone or as a group
Alone, in couple, in family or in group, you will be able to discover according to the formula of your choice all the treasures of the Rouergat country, land of traditions of flavors and colors: nights on bed & breakfast, half or full board, evening stopovers, weekends or organized stays, lunch stopovers, day coach trips, sports courses or simply a stop on your holiday route.

The Hôtel de France is an economic player committed to sustainable development. Thus, we sort all of our waste, and adopt a responsible and economical attitude with regard to water and energy.

Turning off the lights, turning off the tap, unplugging the appliances, adjusting the thermostat, sorting the bathroom linen,… are all small gestures that we try to share with our customers to help us in this process.

We also favor local producers (baker, butcher, greengrocers, brewers, etc.) to help you discover the quality of local produce and defend crafts and local shops.

With a Laguiole knife, I cut a Brioche cake… It's so good! I travel the Larzac, land of discovery where life takes on its full meaning. I breathe in the sweetness of the Lot Valley, I listen to the silence, I vibrate to the light rustle of the water. I will not go to Compostela, I will stop at Conques. Beauty has its demands. Aveyron, the country that lives to the rhythm of Nature.

Questions about your activities during your stay?

Many documents are available to you as help yourself or at the hotel reception, as well as the program of the current festivities which is displayed on the reception screen. We will be able to advise you in addition to the Tourist Office which is located less than 5 minutes away on foot.

The bar welcomes you all day for a friendly moment. You can go there relax, consult the free newspapers and magazines at your disposal and savor our local specialties :
